International relations and regulatory cooperation contribute to the continuous improvement of regulation. As such, ERSE accompanies the activities of other regulatory agencies, as well as developments in the field of regulation at an international level.

To that end, ERSE establishes and maintains institutional relations with international regulatory entities and with relevant bodies in the field of energy, with the purpose of:

• Sharing and learning about best practices at international level
• Promoting the expertise and skills of our staff
• Implementing and monitoring European legislation for energy markets, in a coordinated and coherent manner with our Iberian and European counterparts
