Network operation

Network Operation consists of the management of electricity flows, including the contracting and use of flexibility resources, in line with the flexible management of networks, defining, for this management, the operational standards and the respective deadline for their implementation, as well as compliance with European codes, ensuring their interoperability with the networks to which they are connected, as well as the procedures designed to guarantee their implementation and verification.

Network Operation also includes the conditions under which the RNT operator, in conjunction with the SEN global manager, monitors the unavailability of power generation centers with the largest installed capacity and monitors the levels of reservoirs where hydroelectric plants with high installed capacity are located, and may, in cases where the guarantee of supply is at stake, change the power generation centers' unavailability plans.

Finally, Network Operation includes access by network operators to information on the technical characteristics of facilities connected to the RNT or RND that enable them to carry out technical analyses and studies necessary to perform their functions.
