Bulletins

This newsletter provides information on the evolution of this sector, in particular in terms of prices and amounts supplied to the national market, which is complemented by an analysis of the evolution of commodity prices on international markets, in line with ERSE’s target of transparency of information.

In this newsletter ERSE presents the quarterly average fuel prices in the EU countries. Find out which countries have the highest and lowest prices, the weight of taxes on fuel invoices paid in each Member State and Portugal’s ranking in the European context.

As part of the activity of following up and monitoring the behaviour of fuel markets, ERSE follows the evolution of prices on international markets for commodities which influence the prices of electricity and natural gas in Portugal. In order to contribute towards greater and better access to information, ERSE publishes a quarterly Newsletter that focuses on  this issue.

As part of the activity of monitoring Portuguese and world financial developments, ERSE follows the changes of main financial indicators (such as the Euribor rate and the yields of treasury bonds) which have an impact on regulated companies’ allowed revenues and, therefore, on electricity and natural gas prices. In order to contribute towards greater and better access to information, ERSE publishes a quarterly Newsletter that focuses on this issue.

As part of the activity of following up and monitoring the retail market, ERSE records the evolution in the number of complaints and requests for information for the electricity, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and fuel sectors, as well as issues about which most complaints were received from consumers. In order to contribute towards greater and better access to information, ERSE publishes a quarterly Newsletter that focuses on these issues.
