To charge their electric vehicles at the public network charging points (the MOBI.E network), electric vehicle users must conclude a contract with one or more electric mobility suppliers.

These contracts guarantee that users of electric vehicles have access to all charging points of the public network, including those located in the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.

The electricity supply activity for electric mobility is carried out under a free competition scheme.
