On 4 June 2025, ERSE - Energy Services Regulatory Authority held the third session of its 'Let's simulate with you' service at Impresa's headquarters in Paço de Arcos, Lisbon. A total of 76 electricity and natural gas price simulations were carried out with company employees, identifying average savings of around 18% on consumers' bills

Of the energy bill simulations carried out, 59 resulted in better offers, allowing monthly savings of between 3% and 35%, i.e. between 84 cents and 34.6 euros per month.

This is the third‘Let's simulate it with you’ initiative that ERSE has carried out with consumers at their workplace, following the launch of this service at the headquarters of Antena 1/RTP to mark World Consumer Day earlier this year.

There are currently numerous offers from various suppliers on the market. ERSE advises consumers to use the energy price comparison tool available on its website at least twice a year, for which it also provides an explanatory video.

ERSE's energy price comparison tool compares all electricity and natural gas commercial offers for domestic electricity (Normal Low Voltage) and natural gas (Low Pressure) consumers in mainland Portugal, and is an essential tool for an informed choice by consumers who want to change energy supplier.
