ERSE releases the Report on the Electricity Sector Technical Service Quality for 2020

13/10/2021

ERSE - Energy Services Regulatory Authority published the Technical Service Quality Report for the electricity sector for 2020, which characterizes the quality of service and evaluates the performance of electrical network operators in the scope of the Quality of Service Regulation.

The quality of technical service is influenced by the various agents in the value chain of the electric power system, namely power plants, grid operators and customers, and by external agents that have an impact on generation facilities and distribution infrastructures, including extreme weather events. In this report, the quality of technical service is evaluated according to the quality perceived by customers and the performance of the various network operators.

In order to encourage knowledge and the active participation of society in the regulation of the energy sector and to extend access to the information produced by ERSE, a brochure - ERSExplica - is published together with the Technical Service Quality Report for the electricity sector which summarizes some of the main indicators of technical service quality.

ERSE thus seeks to produce a synthesis of its reports and main regulations aimed at citizen-consumers, with a view to making its activity accessible to a wide range of recipients and contributing to greater literacy among energy consumers.
