ERSE approves general conditions of contracts for the use of gas infrastructures

12/12/2022

ERSE – Energy Services Regulatory Authority approved the general conditions of contracts for the use of gas infrastructures, which formalize the rights and obligations of users (market agents) towards operators, as established in the Access to Networks, Infrastructures and Interconnections Code [Regulation No. 407/2021, of May 12].

The general conditions, now approved, incorporate the updates made to the new legal regime of the National Gas System (SNG), but also the regulatory and legal changes registered in the meantime.

As a result of adapting to the new SNG legal regime, one of the innovative aspects of the general conditions of the contracts stems from the recognition of the figure of the producer of renewable or low-carbon gases and the injection of these gases into the transmission and distribution networks.
