On 15 December, the MIBEL Board of Regulators — comprising the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), and the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC) — will be holding a webinar on the topic of 'Financing the Energy Transition'.

The aim of the Mibel webinar is to hear the perspectives of energy companies and public-private financial entities on the challenges arising from the energy transition and how to finance it.

The first panel will discuss the perspective of energy company associations, represented by the Asociación de Empresas de Energía Eléctrica (AELEC), the Associação Portuguesa das Empresas do Sector Eléctrico (ELECPOR) and The Union of the Electricity Industry (EURELECTRIC).

The second panel will hear from the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) and Banco Português de Fomento (BPF), two financing and development banks, as well as the financial institution associations Asociación Española de Banca (AEB) and Associação Portuguesa de Bancos (APB).

Participants will be able to access the webinar via a link posted on the MIBEL website and the websites of the four entities that comprise the MIBEL Regulatory Council.
