In the current context of high volatility in the wholesale electricity and natural gas markets, ERSE – the Energy Services Regulatory Authority - publishes a set of advices for domestic consumers on how to behave in their contractual relationship with energy suppliers.

In this ERSExplica booklet, consumers will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about their rights and duties when changing their contract, choosing a supplier on the market, accessing social tariffs, as well as some tips on how to save electricity and natural gas.

With this ERSExplica booklet, ERSE aims to increase the energy literacy of consumers and reaffirms its commitment to protecting the rights and interests of consumers, especially those who are economically vulnerable, through continuous information, education and training.
