Regulation
Law No 5/2019 , of 11 January, lays down the scheme for compliance with the requirement for the energy supplier, namely the supplier of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) and petroleum-derived fuels, to provide information to the consumer.
This law identifies the issues that must be included in the detailed bill, and confers powers on the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE) to regulate the procedures and rules set out in this law, as well as those relating to the display of information in establishments that sell LPG and petroleum-derived fuels.
In line with this statutory instrument, ERSE promoted Public Consultation No 79 and approved Regulation No 141/2020, of 20 February.
